Scott actively supports the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce as
a Team Leader with the Ambassadors Club and as a member of the
Business Services Council. The Ambassadors Club gets new members
involved in Chamber activities, thereby enhancing member benefits
and Chamber effectiveness and increasing membership retention. The
Business Services Council designs and implements programs to
benefit Chamber members, including training seminars, business
information resources, SBA relationships, and business awards
programs. The Chamber is a membership organization dedicated to
meeting the identified needs of the metropolitan Denver business
community by fostering economic opportunity and a favorable
business climate. More than 3,300 metro-area companies and their
300,000 employees make up the Chamber's membership.
Through the volunteer-based group Junior Achievement, Scott
teaches kids in Denver public elementary schools about business
and economics so they can improve the quality of their lives. The
business volunteers who deliver the programs become role models to
the kids. Research shows that JA works.
Scott supports the Rockies Venture Club, twice co-chairing the
Fall Finance Forum. He is also a Team Manager for his son's youth
hockey team.
